New aquatic research laboratory constructed in an existing lab space supporting a grant-funded program. Included a recirculating aquaculture system designed with Aquaneering, water leak detection systems, and structural coordination to protect the Fermenter Laboratory below.
This project enabled new grant-funded aquatic research operations.
McGaugh Hall - UCI
Consolidation of four smaller laboratories into one adaptable, shared research environment with custom benching, overhead utilities, shared hood vents, cleaning stations and eye wash stations, microscopy rooms, freezer farm, and fly-growth laboratory. The work integrated overhead utilities and ventilation requirements across consolidated laboratory functions. The project also included the renovation of three adjacent spaces to support the main lab.
